Diversity and UnityWe come in many different shapes and sizes…

And the Lord says: “All souls are Mine!”

(Ezekiel 18:4)

The soul is the organizer of all that we are. It integrates all the other dimensions. The soul can be sustained intact and function as it is supposed to only in keeping of God.

But God has also left us with something called

the Body of Christ - People who we also entrust ourselves to in order to help guide our souls through life.

All true discipleship must happen in community. We need each other. We need accountability. It is why Jesus called a group around him. It is why he left us the church.

  • look at the community you are part of. Explain and describe your current community.

  • In what ways has it disappointed you?
  • What are your hopes for it in the future?
  • If you currently do not have a community that you feel supported buy, How could you go about creating a community to grow in? What do you think it might look like?
